On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, we are honored and delighted to invite you to the 16th General Assembly of the Asian Seismological Commission (ASC), which will take place in the vibrant and welcoming city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from April 25 to 30, 2026. This significant event will serve as a major forum in the field of seismological research, bringing together leading scientists, professionals, and experts from across Asia and around the world. Our goal is to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, innovation, and experience—fostering new achievements in seismology and advancing efforts to mitigate the impacts of earthquakes. The year 2026 holds special significance for the seismological community of Uzbekistan, as it marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Seismology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
