On March 18, 2026, the Institute of Seismology hosted a meeting between the institute’s administration and the trade union committee to review the implementation of the collective agreement for 2024–2026, with a focus on the results achieved in 2025.
The meeting was attended by Sherzod Sultanboevich Juraev, Chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the session, Director V. A. Ismailov outlined the measures taken to ensure favorable working conditions, as well as the social protection and support provided to employees. A report was also delivered by Trade Union Committee Chairperson U. Yusupjonova, highlighting progress in key areas such as occupational safety, employee health and well-being, financial incentives, and the organization of cultural and educational activities throughout 2025.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion, during which employees raised questions and shared feedback. In response, Mr. Juraev emphasized that all suggestions and comments would be carefully considered in future efforts
