LABORATORIYANING ASOSIY ILMIY YO‘NALISHLARI
Determination of the mechanism of earthquake foci and the patterns of their change in space and time; Assessment of seismic hazard taking into account the seismotectonic and engineering-geological conditions of the territories; Creation of seismic zoning maps of various scales; Seismic hazard assessment during the design of critical facilities.
LABORATORIYANING VAZIFALARI
Improvement of modern methods for assessing seismic hazard and seismic zoning of territories; Improvement of methods for assessing the preliminary seismicity and seismic hazard of construction sites of production and public construction facilities, as well as especially important facilities; Determination of seismically active areas in the coming years based on prognostic parameters of the seismic regime;
MAIN SCIENTIFIC RESULTS OBTAINED IN RECENT YEARS
Based on the identified regional patterns of seismic processes and seismic impacts, an assessment of seismic risk was carried out, and a new set of maps of seismic zoning of the territory of Uzbekistan was compiled. Based on a set of prognostic parameters of the seismic regime, a methodology has been developed for determining areas of seismic activity in the coming years. Seismically active areas in the coming years, determined based on the grouping of strong earthquakes located in seismically active areas. Based on the stress state of the Earth's crust of various geodynamic types, the peculiarities of the seismic process in the territory of Uzbekistan were analyzed. In the method of cataclastic analysis of strong void displacements (magnitude 5 and higher) that occurred in the territory of Uzbekistan, the stress state of the earth's crust according to the mechanism of the focal earthquake focus was divided into three groups by dividing them into different geodynamic types: horizontal compression, horizontal stretching, horizontal displacement. Based on the map of active faults, a mathematical model of the stress state of the Earth's crust of this territory was compiled, taking into account deep faults. Based on the numerical result of the model, the displacement of velocity over the field was confirmed.
